There are places where the veil between the familiar and the strange grows thin. The Forest Knows Tarot invites you to step beyond it.

Deep within this beautifully imagined forest dwell creatures of myth, shadow and folklore. Harpies, serpents, spirits, strange beasts and mysterious figures inhabit richly illustrated cards where beauty and darkness exist side by side. The imagery blends fantasy, folklore and Art Nouveau influence into a deck that feels as much like exploring another world as performing a tarot reading.

The cards are printed on substantial 350 gsm pearlescent cardstock with a varnished finish and holographic gold foil detailing that catches the light throughout the artwork. Even the packaging becomes part of the experience, with the deck housed in an elaborate hollow-carved case rather than an ordinary tarot box.

The Forest Knows follows the traditional 78-card tarot structure, making it approachable for established readers while offering enough symbolism and unusual imagery for intuitive exploration. A physical guidebook is included, and Vermilion also provides an online guide to the deck.

For the reader drawn to beautiful things with something darker hiding beneath the surface, The Forest Knows is waiting.
