Dirty Red Tarot takes the familiar structure of tarot and pulls it into a stark world of deep red, black and white. Created by Kedae and presented by Vermilion Collection, its imagery uses raw, almost woodcut-inspired forms, heavy contrast and unconventional symbolism to create a deck that feels deliberately imperfect, strange and beautifully unsettling.
The deck follows the complete traditional tarot structure of Major and Minor Arcana, but also includes five additional cards: Dirty Red, Heart of Natural, Heart of Steel, Heart of Protection and Heart of Soul. Vermilion provides an online guidebook covering both the traditional cards and these additional cards.
The portable-format cards measure approximately 1.97 × 3.94 inches and are printed on 310 gsm black-core cardstock with an air-cushioned finish. The deck comes housed in a rigid drawer-style box.
