Beautiful things can still carry us into dark places.
Aisling Tarot unfolds like a strange vintage dream: romantic, theatrical and slightly unsettling. Its richly illustrated cards move between beauty and shadow, presenting familiar tarot archetypes through an imaginative world filled with mysterious figures, dramatic landscapes and dreamlike symbolism.
What immediately separates Aisling from an ordinary tarot deck is its shape. The cards are cut into an unusual elongated mirror-like silhouette that also gives them an unmistakable coffin-like appearance. Gold-gilded edges complete the presentation, making the deck as visually striking sitting on an altar as it is spread across a reading table.
The deck contains 85 illustrated cards, expanding beyond the traditional 78-card structure with alternate and additional cards that allow the reader to further personalize how the deck is used.
A physical guidebook is included for exploring the deck's imagery and meanings. The cards are printed on substantial 330 gsm black-core cardstock with an air-cushioned finish and come housed in a matching telescoping presentation box.
